It’s not fair

30 Jun

Sometimes being in the army SUCKS ūüė¶¬†.¬†They put you in 2 groups: the Officers (the awesome ūüôā ) and¬†the Enlisted ( the not so awesome ūüė¶¬†¬†). The Officers get all the good things while the Enlisted try to get the best of it!¬† I bet they couldn’t understand what¬†we have to go through.¬† The Officers get better houses and they get paid more.¬† If I were in charge the Officers and Enlisted would have the same houses and the same amount of¬†paid money, because¬†they do the same thing to save and help our country, which what both of them do.¬† Sometimes, I just wish that¬†my dad would be an officer, so we can have a backyard and have a normal sized house instead of a crummy apartment that it’s kinda falling apart!¬† So, like I said it’s¬†really unfair about the Officers and the Enlisted.

But, my dad¬†and I¬†made a ……………¬†CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH ICE CREAM MILKSHAKE WITH DOUBLE¬†STUFF OREOS! It sounds gross, but¬†it’s really good once you taste it.

Here is the recipe for the milkshake.¬†¬†¬† ingredients:¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† 3 scoop of Breyer’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

1/4 cup of chocolate syrup

4 double stuff Oreos

2 1/2 cups of milk

Then you put the 3 scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup, and the cookies in the blender. Wait untill it looks like a milkshake. Put in a cup and enjoy¬† ūüôā !

TIP: If you want to you can sprinkle some crushed Oreos on top for you can have the taste.

Not a fun day

Moving to a new place has¬†its benefits. Like being at a new school,¬†¬†having new friends, and having¬†a new teacher. Like most¬†kids, they get kind of nervous, a little happy, and shy. It could be¬†hard to be¬†at a new school, because you really don’t know anybody there. Tip to you from me¬†is try to¬†join in groups or clubs. It’s easier and faster to make new friends. So, find something to join, ask a trusted¬†adult, and join in!

Yesterday, my friend invited me to her 9th birthday party which, was right behind her house. She had a bouncy house that was formed as a castle for her princess theme. Her little brother that turned 5 years old had the same birthday at the same day at the same time! So, I had to be careful, too.

I couldn’t¬†join in the fun, because I broke my¬†collar-bone¬†just over 3 weeks ago and it all started just by a bouncy house and a gust of¬†wind that came¬†out of nowhere! My mom took me to a German hospital that didn’t work out so well. ūüė¶ My brother, my mom, and I waited in the waiting room for over 4 hours! Then the nurse told us to do some X -ray,¬†that’s when I notice that my head started hurting! When the doctor had the results he said that the collar-bone¬†was fractured. My mom told him about my head and he just put his hand through my head and said it was just a bump and¬†that it will go down. He had me take some¬†motrin for the pain to help it. I’m getting much better by the minute, just need to take care of myself so it can heal better.

Will I have to run, bye!

Let¬†me tell you about myself. I’m 9 years old and I lived in Fort Hood, TX and¬†now my family is stationed at Mannheim, GE. My dad is a solider in the U.S. Army that works with the Blackhawk Helicopters. I have an older brother in high school,¬†a¬†mom, and a German Shepard.¬†I made this blog so I can tell you what it is like being an Army brat and a point of view¬†of a military child¬†. Today was just like any other day, I woke up, my mom told me to get dress, I did chores, then I ate some breakfast. Soon after words, mom and I went to the CYS (for you all none military folk it means Central Youth Services)¬†to know about the piano lessons, because if you know me I really love music. When I found out that the piano teacher was Mr. Link, the pianist at my very first play! He taught me a lot of cool stuff like there is¬†only 7 letters of the alphabet use in the piano keys.¬†He also taught me how to do some songs like,¬†TWINKLE¬†TWINKLE LITTLE STAR¬†and¬†MARY HAVE A LITTLE LAMB,and¬†YANKEE¬†DODDLE.¬†After that, it¬†was on the sofa and t.v. time! I have to go my family and I are eating out for dinner, I wonder where?
